The Team
William “Bill” Gentry // Attorney & Founder
William C. (“Bill”) Gentry embarked on his legal journey in Georgia back in 1986. He currently serves as Treasurer of the State Bar of Georgia.
Bill's legal experience has been demonstrated through his involvement in numerous cases tried within both state and federal courts across Georgia. He has also championed dozens of appeals within state and federal appellate courts within the state. Bill's legal practice has extended to esteemed courts including the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Atlanta. He's also a proud member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court.
Andrea Lazo // Paralegal
Andrea, a fluent Spanish speaker, earned her Paralegal Diploma from Florida International University in 2011. She brings over nine years of experience from various law firms, with a strong focus on personal injury law.
Outside of work, Andrea is passionate about fitness and wellness. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family, including their mini-Aussie, Marla.
Luke Thornton // Paralegal & File Clerk
Luke joined the firm in June 2019. He graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2015 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. When he is not at the office, Luke enjoys riding his motorcycle, camping, and visiting with his nieces and nephews.
Lauren Hoydar // Office Manager
Lauren joined the firm in October 2022 and now works as the Office Manager. Her daughter, Kara-Beth, loves dance as much as she did growing up. Besides mommy-daughter Mexican dinner dates and Friday night snuggles with her daughter, Lauren also enjoys reading, writing, working out, and spending quality time with her friends.
Stephanie Delay // Chief of Staff
Stephanie joined the firm in October of 2020. She graduated in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Management from Regent University. She joined the firm with seven years of prior experience in operations management with an Atlanta law firm. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their chow/lab mix rescue dog as well as photography.
Bethany Cousins // Legal Assistant
Bethany joined the firm in November 2022. She is currently a student at Kennesaw State University majoring in political science. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her three sisters, and finding new tv shows to binge watch.
